  • ABSTRAK Etching duration - 37% phosphate acid - bonding agent contains a silane-shear bond strength.Tuberculosis (TB) disease is a community health problem which is the third cause of death at all ages and the first infectious disease in Indonesia. New TB cases in children are relatively high. Policies on the timing for BCG immunization as efforts to prevent TB are changing over time. Some studies on BCG vaccination, tuberculin test and effects of vaccine protection also give inconsistent results. The study was meant to evaluate the association between the timing for BCG immunization and place of BCG immunization with lung TB occurrence in children. This was a case control study with children having TB who sought for medication at Sleman Hospital as subject of the study. As many as 94 samples were purposively taken, with 47 samples as cases and 47 samples as controls. Independent variable was the timing for BCG immunization and place of BCG immunization and dependent variable was lung tuberculosis occurrence in children. Confounding variables consisted of nutrition status, birth weight and mothers' education. Breastfeeding practice and smoking practice in the family as control variables. Data were processed using univariable, bivariable and multivariable analyses. Three variables were statistically significant, i.e. the timing for BCG immunization (p=0.00
