- This research aims to know relationship and influence between the farmers characteristic , participatory agricultural exstension method and attitude of local farmers in applying technological paddy innovation. The research was done in peat land development area, kapuas regency, province of Central Kalimantan. The research used survey in 6 village of 2 sub-districts. The village and sub-districts were selected purposively. The farmers were chosen as sample 120 respondents by using multi stage random sampling method.Collecting data was covered farmer characteristic, participatory agricultural extension, attitude and innovation by farmer. The data were analyzed by using rank Speramen and path analyzed . The result of study was indicated tat farmers characteristic relationship and significance on particopatory agricultural extension to farmer attitude in applying paddy innovation in peat land.
