  • Oxidation of Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) is basic trigger that could lead to atherosclerosis. Purpose of this research is to analyze difference macrophage cell of mice and Macaca nemestrina (Macaca nemestrina) to level of Low Density Lippoprotein (LDL) that is inducted with oxidized LDL. Cholesterol is isolated from Macaca fascicularis/MEP blood plasma that is feeding with aterogenic food. Mice macrophage is isolated with peritorium liquid while makrofag of Macaca nemestrina is being isolated from white cell monosit. Forming ofMalonaldehide (MDA) as LDL oxidation result will be finding with thiobarbituric acid reactive substance (TBARS) method using spektrofotomer. Result from research found that mice macrophage cell and Macaca nemestrina that is incubated in growing media within 4 hours without any added could create Malonaldehide (MDA). Concentration MDAthat is produced by machropage mice cell is 3.2% higher than Macaca nemestrina macrophage cell. Percentage result base on LDL that is incubated with mice macrophage cell showed MDA 5, 8% higher than Macaca nemestrina macrofag cell. This condition could happen because of macrophage mice cell is more active thanMacaca nemestrina macrophage cell. Beside that macrophage cell that is incubated with LDL could
