  • The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating role that social support play in the relationship between work-family conflict and work engagement. Data was collected using three scales, namely work engagement scale, work-family conflict scale, and social supoort scale. Subjects in this study consisted of 86 female nurses at X Hospital, Yogyakarta. Data is analyzed by moderated regression analysis of Baron and Kenny (1986). Result shows that work-family conflict negatively predicts work engagement and social support is able to moderate the relationship between work-family conflict and work engagement.
