  • As a form of television practitioners to better promote all forms of public involvement that could lead to the public's own interest rather than the interests of TV owners. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods to the management of the media to the public management as citizens. By means of a case study on a special episode of Ibukota Darurat Banjir on daily program Apa Kabar Indonesia Pagi broadcast by TV One. Research directed at the discovery of the type of public involvement that is implemented on a talk show program Apa Kabar Indonesia Pagi. In the realm of democracy, the media as a public servant is expected to position the public in portions citizens. However, trends in the management of limited public by the media as a market. Because the media still take advantage of the existence of a public market. For the viewers, Indonesia in particular, to be more pro-active to show television programs, so that they are more involved in the chain of information as the manufacturer does not stop as consumers only. For the sake of preparing for a wave of new media as a tool to support democratization in Indonesia through the audience as a form of control to show television programs to realize a democratic society.
