- One of ways to deal with poverty is support from the able person to give their wealth in form of money or livestock to the poor. Dompet Peduli Ummat Daarut Tauhid Yogyakarta (DPU DT Yogyakarta) is an amil zakat institution that play role to distribute productive zakat to mustahiq. DPU DT views that distribution of productive zakat of livestock may increase live quality. Through Desa Ternak Mandiri program (DTM) productive zakat is given in form of goat. The objective of goat distribution is to benefit in adding mustahiq income. This is field research using quantitative approach. Discussion will focus on what effect of productive zakat usage on mustahiq empowerment in DPU Daarut Tauhid Yogyakarta. It is research on field observation report that is research on primary data through interview or questionnaire. Data was analyzed using income additional analysis, descriptive statistic analysis, linear regression analysis. Sample paired T test. Result of test in this research indicated that income before receiving productive zakat of livestock affects positively consumption and sadaqah of mustahiq
