- Research aims to determine the breach of contract that happened on the implementation of the chartering agreement Between Pekanbaru�s Department Of Public Work With Cv. Kharisma Putri and to determine the resolution for the breach. This research is written on empiric juridical format. Data is collected by research literature available and field, to obtain secondary and primary data. All collected data were analyzed with qualitative method. The result analysis presented by descriptive. The result of the research shows that breach of contract happened during the fulfillment of the chartering agreement when the Provider was due for 4 (four) calendar days in fulfilling the obligation, which was from 31st of May 2013 until 20th December of 2013, yet the Provider fulfilled the obligation on 24th of December 2013. The effort to resolve the dispute due to the breach of contract on this chartering agreement is by consensus forum, and CV. Kharisma Putri as the Provider party was fined due to the delays on fulfilling its obligation, in an amount of Rp. 191.000,- (one hundred ninety one thousand Rupiahs).
