- This study aims to look at the performance level of asset management of land and buildings are managed by the Department of Revenue, Finance and Asset Management of the City Government of Tarakan, as well as factors that affect the performance of the management of those assets. This study aimed to analyze whether the management of land and building assets managed by the Department of Revenue, Finance and Asset Management, is in conformity with the theory and regulations. Data were collected from 61 respondents, consisting of leaders and staff from the Department of Revenue, Finance and Asset Management Tarakan City Government. The analytical tool used in this research is descriptive, Test Validity and Reliability and factor analysis aims to look at the performance of the asset management of land and buildings as well as the factors affecting the performance of asset management. Based on research performance management best knowledge of land and building assets managed by the Department of Revenue, Finance and Asset Management of the City Government of Tarakan implementation has accordance with the theory of asset management. Factors affecting the performance of asset management by using Factor Analysis, formed four factors, namely: Human Resources (HR), Asset Management Information System (SIMA), Asset Management and Cost anagemen required in this asset.
