- Tomato is one of many important fruits commodity in Indonesia. The total production of tomato in indonesia was 893.504 tonnes which was rank 5th of the production of annual vegetables and fruits. Agricultural land can not be separated from the insect. This study was conducted to determine the diversity of Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum L.) visiting insects pre-, during, and post-flowering. This research was conducted in tomato agricultural land in Ngemplak, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Data collection was carried out on 10 x 10 m land by exploring and scan sampling methods. The results consist of 7 orders, 16 families, and 21 species. tomato plants visiting insect on pre-flowering period mostly act as herbivores while on during and post-flowering period predominantly herbivorous and carnivorous insects. Diversity of tomato visiting insects pre-, during, and post-flowering were moderate (according to the Shannon-Wiener index, moderate range: 1-3). The calculation result obtained on pre-, during, and post-flowering period were 1,51
