  • The number of HIV in Indonesia was 20.413 cases in 2013. The case of HIV in Yogyakarta was 1.245 cases until 2013. The most common transmission in Yogyakarta is heterosexual. Unsafe sexual behavior will give a contribution to increase the spread of HIV. This study aimed to know a description of sexual behavior in people with HIV in Yogyakarta. Research method of this study is a descriptive quantitative. Samples are 58 people living with HIV who still or ever had of sexual intercourse, 18 years old or older and live in Yogyakarta in May-June 2014. The sampling with accidental sampling technique. Data obtain using a questionnaire of sexual behavior. Data was analyzed using frequency distribution. The majority respondents are men, and are circumcised. The most common mode of HIV transmission is through sexual intercourse by heterosexual. The minimum number of sexual partners of respondent is 1 people for one year and the maximum up to 480 people. Most people with HIV in Yogyakarta are heterosexual. The most frequent sexual activity is vaginal sex and anal sex without using a condom. Receptive women partner in vaginal sex is 84,2%, receptive men partner in anal sex is 30,8% and receptive women partner in anal sex is 21,1%. Unsafe sexual behavior in people with HIV in Yogyakarta include receptive partner of vaginal sex and anal sex without condoms.
