- The objective of the research was to study the effects of cow manure and N, P, K fertilizer on NPK uptake and growth of corn in Inceptisol after Merapi eruption period. The design of the research was completely randomized design with two factors. The first factor were the rates of cow manure (0 t/ha, 7,5 t/ha, 15 t/ha, 22,5 ton/ha, and 30 t/ha) and the second factor were the rates of N, P, K fertilizer (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 100% from dose recommendation of 300 kg/ha, SP-36 150 kg/ha, dan KCl 100 kg/ha). The result of the research showed that application of cow manure and N, P, K fertilizer increase concentration of organic matter, NPK in the soil, NPK uptake, and increase the total dry weight of corn. The maximum rate of cow manure (30 t/ha) and NPK fertilizer (550 kg/ha) give the highest result on NPK uptake and total dry weight of the corn.
