- Finger joint laminating (FJL) is one of Kesatuan Bisnis Mandiri Industri Kayu Cepu (KBM IKC) product which can increase utilization value of small piece and low grade teak wood stock. FJL board product at KBM IKC was using horizontal finger orentation. Economical value of this product is according to SNI 01 - 7255 - 2006 standard about visual quality of wooden moulding product. The production of FJL boad at KBM IKC was not supported by reseach data sheet about adhesion properties of finger-joint and its joint efficiency. This reseach investigate the influence of finger orientation and visual quality of wood material to adhesion properties of teak wood finger-joint. This research used Completly Randomized Design with two factor: finger orientation (vertical and horizontal) and visual quality of material (B, C white and C black streak).
