- Broiler is a type of chicken meat cultivated with the main product. Good quality meat is influenced by feed management and administration. Job Training (PKL) aims to determine the feed and feeding management are implemented in PT. Janu Putro Prosperous Farm, Sonoharjo Margokaton, Sayegan, Sleman District, Yogyakarta Special Region. PKL held on 24th to March 1st, 2014. Activity began at 07:00 to 16:00. Data obtained from observations, interviews with employees cage and practice cage. Based on direct observation and practice show that use of feed for broilers of time starter until the finisher is RN-42 and B11. RN-42 Production PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia and B-11 Production PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia. RN-42 and B-11 shaped crumble, using trays and administered by conventional methods as much as four times daily at 06:30, 10:30, 15:30 and 18:30, with five to six cell number for each tray. Food that is not exhausted sifted, then sieve is mixed with the new feed. Entering the age of ten days, replaced with a feed tray hanging gradually. Feeding in PT. Janu Putro Prosperous Farm, in terms of method, frequency of administration, feed requirements and feed nutrients is good but the rest of the management of the feed and the feed hygiene needs to be improved. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the feed and feeding management in PT. Janu Putro Prosperous Farm has been implemented properly.
