- Precast concrete technology is a top choice for generating fast-paced construction work. Precast concrete technology is able to replace the traditional / conventional concreting operation due to its many advantages. One type of precast systems, which will be discussed in this final report are PSA (Pracetak Sambung Akhir). PSA system is a system used in precast construction in rusunawa development in District of Wates, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. PSA system, which is developed by PT. Lima Jabat, is an open frame structure system, so that it is able to follow the architectural design. The component consists of columns, beams, and floor slabs. Joint system between beams is done by putting in the main reinforcement cutting pile cap or the beams to the lower joint hole of the next beams reinforced with high qualified and shrinkage resistant concrete grouting (K-500). On the other hand, joint system between blocks is reinforced using steel coil strand based on calculations specified which is then grouted by (K-500). While the connection between the plates using blocks, is carried by uniting iron cuttings contained on each plate and then casted with quality concrete (K-350). Using the PSA system in the construction of public housing in Wates, Kulon Progo, will make the development process more quickly and efficiently and also have been tested for feasibility.
