- This study aims to determine the suitability principle of the welfare state, and the suitability of the child protection principles contained in the Provincial Regulation Yogyakarta Special Region Number 6 Year 2011 About The Protection of Children who Living on the Street. Formulation of the problem in this study is : Does Provincial Regulation Yogyakarta Special Region Number 6 Year 2011 About The Protection of Children who Living on the Street in accordance with the principle of welfare state and whether the Provincial Regulation Yogyakarta Special Region Number 6 Year 2011 About The Protection of Children who Living on the Street accordance with the children protection principle. This research is normative and used descriptive qualitative analysis. The data collected in this study is to read the literature and expert resource persons interviewed The results of this study are Provincial Regulation Yogyakarta Special Region Number 6 Year 2011 About The Protection of Children who Living on the Street has had a material substance that accords with the principle of welfare state and the principle of children protection. The research results are analyzed through the establishment of regulatory background, consideration in the regulation, and articles contained in the regulation.
