  • As one of the priority services, the hospitality industry has a specific strategy in the management of human resources in order to realize the excellent service. Hotel Sahid Raya Yogyakarta through the Human Resources Department as part of managing human resources to apply the method of learning by doing, promotion and rotation, and outing motivation and training in order to realize excellent service. This paper also discusses about the effect of the educational background in the hotel. Techniquesz of data analysis were used t analyze problem is qualitative descriptive method to describe of the management of human resources in effect in the Hotel Sahid Raya Yogyakarta and educational background of employees can affect performance of the hotel service.
