- An effort of guiding and super vising the chicken slaughter houses in Yogyakartais aimed for improving the quality of chicken slaughter houses. Yogyakarta Governmentis in cooperation with the Department of Industry, Tradeand Agricultural Cooperatives (DISPERINDAGKOPTAN) in charge of Quality Control of Commoditiesand Animal Health. Supervision and coaching of Chicken Slaughter houses in Yogyakarta is one of the government's effortsin overseeing BPAH circulationin Yogyakarta. The objectives to beachieved from this activityare : (1) Knowing the implementation of guidanceand supervision of the Chicken Slaughter houses (RPA) in Yogyakarta which is conducted by DISPERINDAGKOPTAN. (2) Knowingthe hygiene and sanitation of the Chicken Slaughter houses (RPA) in Yogyakarta. The methods used are conducting observations in the Chicken Slaughter houses (RPA) in Yogyakarta, and also conducting interview swith the managers of the Chicken Slaughter houses (RPA) in Yogyakarta as well as the officers of DISPERINDAGKOPTAN to obtain in formation about the implementation of hygiene and sanitation in the Chicken Slaughter houses (RPA) in Yogyakarta. The results of visits at the time of Job Training (PKL) in Yogyakarta is the guidance and supervision conducted by DISPERINDAGKOPTAN covers giving leaflets and warning directly to the Chicken Slaughterhouses (RPA) in question. Visits were made twice a week, i.e. on Monday and Thursday. The conditions of the two Chicken Slaughterhouses (RPA)visitedhas not been qualified as good Chicken Slaughterhouses (RPA). The Chicken Slaughter houses (RPA) inYogyakartain general hasnot satisfied the given rules yet.
