- Background : Hospital as one of public services in the health sector has an important role in improving public health. Nutrition service is one of the existing services in the hospital. Good nutrition service is realized by implementing minimum service standards. High quality of nutrition service needs support from human professionals resources, one of which is nutritionist. In realizing human resources according to the needs of the organization, there are several obstacle such as the distribution of employees that do not fit the job specifications and arrangement of the employee based on estimation alone. So the workload analysis needs to be done. Objective : The study aim to analyse workload and the need of Nutritionist for achieving minimum service standards at Krakatau Medika Hospital. Method : The study was observational and descriptive with cross-sectional design. Data was collected by using the guidelines of Permenkes number 53 in 2012. Subjects were Nutritionists who work at Krakatau Medika Hospital Banten Province. Data analysis is presented descriptively. Result : The result of this study is totals of Nutrisionist Krakatau Medika have been adequate (3 people) , the workload is 1700.23 for the head nutrition unit, 1961.28 for dietitian supervisor of food production and distribution and in 1909, 07 dietitian nutrition services for inpatient and outpatient care. Nutritionist working volume of Krakatau Medika hospital in 1816 for the head unit is nutrition, 2951 for dietisien suoervisor of food production and distribution and 2270 for dietitian nutrition services for inpatient and outpatient care. Achievement positions on all office holders classified in category A which is very good. The number of workload units is 5570.58 with the achievement in category A that is very good. The achievement of minimum service standards of nutrition units has been reached. Conclusion : Total of Nutrisionist at nutrition unit Krakatau Medika Hospital has been enough and minimum service standards is achieved and this unit works effectively and efficiently.
