- This graduating paper aims to know how Kasongan preserves its existence as a tourism village which produces pottery and how Kasongan attracts visitors to visit that place by observing and analyzing by using SWOT analysis (strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat). This research focuses on the factors which affect how Kasongan preserves its existence as a tourism village and tourist attraction. The methods of collecting the data are direct observation, interview, library research, and internet research. The analysis is done by using SWOT analysis method. Factors which make Kasongan survive as a tourism village and tourist attraction is the event which is held in Kasongan such as Kasongan Art Festival and also the uniqueness pottery products itself. Based on the observation and interview, UPT Koperasi Kasongan and pottery products are also the factors which affect the effort to preserve the existence of Kasongan Village, so the visitors are interested to visit this place although it has weaknesses.
