This is a viral contagious disease which is caused by hog cholera virus. The virus is included in the genus of Pestvirus and in the family of Flaviviridae. This research aimed at detecting the hog cholera seropositive prevalence and factors in Sukoharjo regency. Ninety three serum samples were taken from 5 sub districts, 5 villages, and 10 selected farms in Sukoharjo regency, in which they were taken by its cluster. The selected blood samples were then analyzed by serologis ELISA test in order to know the level protective. The data of swine and breeders were collected by using a questioner asking about the association and factors cause hog cholera seropositive. For analyzing the data, the researcher used chi square test in order to know the association between hog cholera seropositive and strength of association was analyzed by odds ratio. The research showed that 27 serum samples out of 93 (29%) were resulted by hog cholera seropositive.
