- The study is to know the potencies of tourism object of Pasir Padi Beach, government program of Pangkalpinang City and the encumbrance to develop the tourism object. The study has three methods. They are observation, interview, and literature review. The observation method is to search the information by visit in to the tourism object. Interview is conversation about the study to the staff of tourism place in Pasir Padi Beach and literature review is to study the data of library that has relation with object of the study. The result shows that potencies of tourism object in Pasir Padi Beach are sloping with the white sand. The programs of Pangkalpinang City government are addition of facilities, marketing of Pasir Padi Beach product and investment to support the development process of tourism object as good potencies. The encumbrance to improve the Pasir Padi Beach is less of facilities, fund and limited human resource from public and tourism government of Pangkalpinang and low awareness of tourist about environment and accessibility.
