- The tittle of this thesis is �Foreign Absorption Suffixes Constructing Noun in Bahasa Indonesia: Study of Morphology�. The data used in this research is collected by using observation method with noting technique. The analysis of the data is done by using distributional method with direct element division technique. The source of data in this research is the 4 th edition of Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia written by Pusat Bahasa in 2008. The theoretical basis of this research is morphology. The morphological analysis used in this research is done by classifying word form embedded by foreign absorption suffixes. The objective of this thesis is to find out the absorption process of words embedded with foreign suffixes from its origin language. This research found that foreign suffixes absorbed in Bahasa Indonesia are basically originated from four foreign languages
