  • Protein and Albumin are important materials for young and adult cattle. The function of Protein and Albumin in the body is not only for the nutrient intake, yet it gives effect to the reproductive performance. This research aims to compare the levels of protein and albumin between SimPO cattle and PO, also its conjuction with service per conception (S/C). This study was performed using 9 PO cattles and 7 SimPOcattles aged two to five years. The blood sample taken from each cattle was used to understand the levels of protein and albumin in the blood plasma. This study was performed by survey and interview methods to the breeders to know the reproduction performance, ie S/C. The obtained data were analyzed using independent t-test. The results showed that blood plasma of SimPO cattle had an average levels of protein and albumin in amount of 7,38 ± 97 mg/dl dan 3,21 ± 30 mg/dl in a row, while the levels of protein and albumin in the blood plasma of PO cattles are 7.37 ± 97 mg / dl and 3.51 ± 25 mg / dl. The results of the analysis using independent t-test showed no difference in the levels of protein and albumin between SimPO and PO cattles. On the S/C analysis result of SimPO cattle is 1,71 ± 1,11 and on the SimPO cattle is 2,00 ± 1,12, which is based on the independent t-test results, there are no significant differences (P>0,05) between SimPO and PO cattle. The analysis results of the levels of protein dan albumin on SimPO and PO are normal, so were the results of S/C. From the results, we can obtained that the levels of Protein and albumin between SimPO and PO cattle have no effect on S/C. Keywords: Protein, Albumin, SimPO cattle, PO cattle, S/C
