- Kejajar district of Wonosobo regency is one vegetable production centers in Central Java, with the main results is potatoes, the crop productivity reached between 147.58 � 159.9 kw/ha. However, the high production and an increase in agricultural productivity is no longer a guarantee of a decent benefit for farmers without the equality of income among farmers engaged in on-farm sub-system with agribusiness sub-sectors in the upstream and downstream. Income equality can only reached by increasing the bargaining power of farmers. Development of agricultural institutions in which concerns the efforts to strengthen the role and function of institutional farmer groups and the extension, played a key role in improving the welfare of farmers, who are not only determined by the increase in productivity, but also the strength their bargaining position, through capital collectivity, production collectivity, marketing collectivity, and transaction cost efficiency.
