- The study aimed at finding out and better understanding the implementation of warranting state-owned land title and its registration in the Agrarian Office of Surakarta City for the citizens of Surakarta City who submitted the application for the land title. IT was juridical and empirical study based on in-field study and supported by literature study. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the warranting state-owned land title and its registration, especially in the Agrarian Office of Surakarta City has not been well accomplished. It was clearly observed in some obstacles in the implementation of warranting state-owned land title and its registration in the Agrarian Office of Surakarta City and the absence of the complete data of the applicants, both physically and juridically, the presence of informal collection out of the one that has been established by government, and the negligence of the officers in the Agrarian Office in gathering the data while handling the documents of the applicants.
