  • Housekeeping Department is part of the hotel department is responsible for the cleanliness, neatness, and comfort of the room (guest room), public area, restaurant, bar, and other outlets. Housekeeping Department to be handled by staff skilled workers and professionals. As one of the hotels in Yogyakarta which has the best service, especially in the Housekeeping Department in order to improve guest satisfaction are New Saphir Yogyakarta Hotel is one of the standard 4 star hotel in Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study is to determine the distribution of operational tasks Room Boy in the ministry of the Departement Housekeeping at Hotel New Saphir Yogyakarta and to know the relationship Departement Housekeeping room boy at the Departement in the performance of activities operasionalnya. The author also invites readers to discover constraints - constraints experienced Room Boy in doing operational activities with troubleshooting. In writing this paper, the authors use qualitative data analysis techniques, namely analyzing, visualizing and summarizing a variety of conditions, situations of various data collected from interviews as well as the product of observation of the studied problems that occur in the field. Housekeeping Operations Departement in New Saphir Hotel Yogyakarta is one of the largest contributors to the inclusion of the hotel as the Hotel New Saphir Yogyakarta managed professionally and already have a good working procedures, but the procedures have to be applied better to improve guest satisfaction. In a day of service activities day Housekeeping Departement New Saphir Hotel Yogyakarta also has many problems, but the problem - the problem can be solved by good by running a variety of tips - tips specifically and regularly provide training - training to all existing Room Boy Departement especially in Housekeeping to conform to the standards set by the hotel services.
