- Thesis entitled �Inactive Records Management in PT. Waskita Karya� is the result of collecting data during work practices in PT. Waskita Karya. Work practices is aimed to understand condition of an archives and filling system. As for the variety of the problem among other things about the place of storage, waste of time, place and cost as well as the discovey of the return. Methods used in work practices among other is study of the literature, observation and partisipation, and interview. In the work practices is certainly we need references to solidify apply in place of practice and study literature was very helpful. Next is observation and participation with this method the authors can directly observe archives condition also get concrete data, direct partisipation in handling archives can also be to understand the condition of the archive to gauge how much even the understanding and application of archival science with the existing in place with state practice. The conclusion of this thesis that the management of the archives in the PT. Waskita Karya not in accordance with the existings procedures and look like taken care of just potluck. Constraints encountered in practice are also often hindered in the management of archives.
