  • Mangrove rehabilitation action along the North Pemalang Shore have grown successfully and made association. Variation of growth direction have made different of habitat characteristic. It familiar with zonation. The aims of this study were to know difference of character physic and chemical habitat in several plantation periods every zonation, growth of mangrove rehabilitation in several plantation periods every zonation, and effect of physic and chemical habitat on the mangrove rehabilitation growth. Total of planting area were 19 ha. There were 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2011. Every plantation periods divided into three zone. Technique sampling in every zonation with plot quadrant 5x5 m2 and distance each sampling 50 m, and numbers of plot were 75. Variable of physic and chemical habitat such : temperature, pH, mud thickness, salinity, DO (Dissolved Oxygen), C-Organic, and variable of growth such : trees density, diameter, tree height, height of root, and numbers of root. Result of this study based on ANOVA with factorial design for character of habitat show that temperatur, pH, C-Organic significant different in time planting and zonation with confidence level 95%. Mud thickness, salinity, DO significant different in plantation periods, but not significant in zonation. The density of Rhizophora mucronata was 1840 n/ha. It was the highest mean of density. The diameter of Rhizophora apiculata was 4,75 cm. It was the lowest mean of diameter. Diameter of Avicennia alba was 6,56 cm. It was the highest mean of diameter, and tree height of Avicennia marina was 7,79 m. It was the highest mean of tree height variable on that plantation area. Multiple regression analyze with backward method for R. mucronata show that variable of diameter effected by pH, salinity, and C-Organik with r (Coeficien of Correlation) 0,73, while variable of root height effected by pH, and C-Organic with correlation 0,76 ,and numbers of root effected by salinity and C-Organik with correlation 0,70. Variable of root height species of R. apiculata effected by salinity with correlation 0,63. Variable diameter species of A. alba effected by pH with correlation 0,80. Root height effected by pH, salinity, and DO with correlation 0,92. And variable of diameter, tree height, and numbers of root species of A. marina effected by pH, with correlation 0,62, 0,51, and 0,63.
