- Jakarta as the capital city of Indonesia is the heart of trade, economy and governance. As such Jakarta possess attractive tourism potential which includes museum. As a historical place about the existence of a country, countless knowledge and experience can be shared in the museum. The potency of Museum Perumusan Naskah Proklamasi is similar with any other museum in Jakarta . Located strategically in the center of Jakarta, exactly in Menteng area. Until now, numerous guests visited the musem are students and museum community. The methods used in this research are survey, observation and interview with head of museum as well as the visitors and use SWOT analysis approach to process the data. To be able to develop Museum Perumusan Naskah Proklamasi, this research apply collection management strategy, human resource strategy and marketing strategy. The outcome from this research indicate that Museum Perumusan Naskah Proklamasi need to perform some improvements in term of collection management, human resource s and also marketing. Through the collection management aspect, Musem Perumusan Naskah Proklamasi is required to change the way they present the collection in order to deliver the meaning of the collection properly. Besides that, it is important for Museum Perumusan Naskah proklamasi to employ well-trained workers with abundant knowledge about museum. Moreover, Museum Perumusan Naskah Proklamasi can try to build strategic cooperation with relevant parties to promote the museum.
