  • GadjahMada University as the biggest educational institution in Indonesia has a complete organization structural and needs budgeting system that can fulfill their organization complex needs. So, on 2005, GadjahMada University started to implemented budgeting system based in performance that called SistemInformasiManajemendanAnggaranBerbasisKinerja or also known as SIMABEKA. SIMABEKA is one of information system that specialized to propose, arranged, budgeting monitoring whether reception or to shop before submitted to Budgeting Committee and DirektoratJenderalPajak (DJA) (for APBN) as a RencanaKegiatanTahunan (RKT)/ RencanaKegiatanAnggaranTahunan (RKAT) or RencanaAnggaranBelanja (RBA). This studyaimed toexamine the influence of executive participation, executive background and executive involvementon user satisfaction as SIMABEKA implementation successâ��s measurein Gadjah Mada University. The population in this research contains of two populations, which is the user of mandatory Budget-based performance Management Information System at GadjahMada University and executive party in some levels under the Head of University or Vice Head of University, Director of every Directorate, Subdirectorate chief, Administration Office Chief, Directorate Secretary, and Chief Section of each work unit or all offices and faculties field in GadjahMada University who use Management Information System and Budget-based performance (SIMABEKA). The sampling techniqueis anon probabilitysamplingmethodwithpurposivesamplingtechnique.The resultsofthis study indicatethatall statementsandproposedresearch objectivesachievedandalsoalmost allvariablesmeasured inthis studyprovedto have positivet impact.
