- The purpose of this research was to find out about reproductive performance of beef cattle based on housing condition and feeding pattern. The research was held in KT Gumarang Jaya and KT Handini Mukti with service per conception, calving interval and estrous post partum as the parameters of reproductive performance. The samples were 26 heifers in age between 1-11 years, have bred a calf before, no physical abnormalities and in good health condition. The housing category were divided into three groups, there were good, bad and worst condition. Food variables used were field grass, para-grass, mixed grass consist of hay and many kinds of grass, and a concentrate as additional foods. The research was conducted by survey methode and interviewing the breeder, then the data were analyzed statistically by One Way Anova and Independent Samples T-Test. Results of this research on beef cattles that live in a good pen show service per conception of 2,2 ± 0,4 times, calving interval throughout 14,5 ± 3,3 months and estrous post partum after70 ± 30,7 days. Beef cattles that fed a mixture grass show service per conception of 2,5 ± 0,8 times, calving interval throughout 14,1 ±1,9 moths and estrous post partum after 80 ± 29,4 days meanwhile the beef cattles that given a concentrate in theirs food only show service per conception of 2,5 ± 0,8 times, calving interval throughout 15,4 ± 3,3 months and estrous post partum after 88,9 ± 30 days.
