Women in this novel are also not fully feel the freedom, eventhough they have entered the public space as a geisha. The geisha girls are required to adhere to PBQ of her work environment. PBQ demanded women who work as the geisha in this novel to be beautiful by wearing special geishas makeup, do the hair up, and wearing the kimono as the qualification of geishas beauty. Although their professional as a geisha, they are more demanded to give priority to the attitude and feminine character than to have artistic ability. At the end, the efforts they made to meet the criteria of the beauty in the MOAG novel make them oppressed and fettered, eventhough they have been free from mystical domesticity.
