Public service in this study was a service conducted by Integrated Licensing Service Office. This study aims to analyze the principal agent relationship between South Kalimantan Local Government and Kalimantan Province Integrated Licensing Service Office also its impact to the investment licensing service quality in South Kalimantan Province.
This study used a mix method, which combine qualitative with quantitative research methods. The research sample included 60 individuals from Integrated Licensing Service Office of South Kalimantan Province, Banjarbaru City, and Banjarmasin. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. The variables in this study include independent variables that constitute aspects of principal agent relationship, which is asymmetric information, opportunistic behavior, lack of enforcement, and transactional cost. Meanwhile the dependent variable was quality service. The data analysis is done by using the Spearman Rank correlation. In addition, this study also used a binary logistic regression analysis.
The results showed that there are significant of the principal-agent relationship between South Kalimantan Local Government and South Kalimantan Integrated Licensing Service Office to the investment licensing service quality. That can be seen from the result of binary logistic regression based on simultaneous testing of all independent variables that was obtained sig 0,000.
