- Utilities (electricity, gas, water) and transportation sectors are basic necessities for households, as well as supporting the production and distribution activities. In 2012, these two sectors are included in three sectors with the highest growth rate in Bogor. Government intervention toward public services improvement for people is indispensable to create a livable city. Subsidies may be an option as one of the efforts to improve public services. This research analyzes impact of subsidies on utilities and transportation sectors. The data used is the Social Accounting Matrix (SAM) of Bogor in 2010. The analysis used is the Social Accounting Matrix Multiplier (SAM Multiplier), simulation, and Structural Path Analysis (SPA). The results are as follows: (1) utilities sector has greater impact on capital, labor in administration, sales, and services sector, non-poor households, and it is also the largest contributor to government revenue. Transportation sector has greater impact on labors, labor in administration, sales, and services sector, nonpoor households, and it is included as one of five major contributors to government revenue. Trade sector is the sector with the highest linkage with the two sectors
