  • This study aims to determine and analyze the kind of local food preocessing and the effort which was done, participation level of the women farmers group members, the factors which influenced participation level, and to know the women farmer group membersâ��s marketing system besides rice sources of carbohydrate local food processing in Bantul District. This study used descriptive analytic method. The sub district, village, and the women farmer group membersâ��s sample was taken by purposive method. From each women farmer group members was taken 15 sample by simple random sampling so there were 60 sample intotal. The data was analyzed with proportion test, multiple linear regresion and qualitative method. The result of this study shown that most of woman farmers in Bantul District had high level of participation besides rice sources of carbohydrate local food processing. The age and activity of women farmers positively influenced to its participation. Processing food which was produced by women farmer had been very varied with the garut as its main comodity which was procceed as emping and flour. The marketing system of local food frocessing result was done by women farmers group and besides to the consumers with different level price in each marketing level.
