  • This research was aimed to know effect of cow manure and ZA to the growth and N, S uptakes of mustard greens and N, S content on Inceptisols Cangkringan that was used as plant media of mustard greens. Research data were obtained from observation data at greenhouse and laboratory analysis data which were processed to get final result from the research. Observation data at greenhouse were consisted o plant height and number of leaves, whereas laboratory analysis data were consisted of chemical and physical properties of initial soil (Inceptisols), chemical properties of cow manure, chemical properties of soils after cow manure and ZA treatment, and plant tissues of mustard greens. The highest result of mustard greens total nitrogen uptakes was 40 ton/ha cow manure and 500 kg/ha ZA treatment a number of 0,18 g/plant and sulfur uptakes was 40 ton/ha cow manure and 500 kg/ha ZA a number of 0,029 g/plant. The highest result of fresh and dry biomass were 40 ton/ha cow manure and 500 kg/ha ZA a number of 69,32 g and 5,25 g, but economically the best dosage of cow manure and ZA for fresh and dry biomass were 20 ton/ha cow manure and 125 kg/ha ZA a number of 57,25 g and 4,07 g. The result showed that increase of cow manure and ZA had possitive effect to the growth and N, S uptakes of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). The higher of cow manure and ZA dosage made the growth and N, S uptakes of mustard greens also higher.
