- Background: Applicability of 2014 in the hope BPJS able to make hospital services become more optimal. The government has given full authority to the parties in the implementation BPJS 2014. Unpreparedness BPJS evidenced by the absence of technical guidelines BPJS patient service flow. In a preliminary study conducted at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Yogyakarta, where the absence of written guidelines provided by the government resulting inconsistent service flow. Other problems that the patient is not consistent presence in the examination, which was originally an outpatient examination using common payment method and when there was an order from the doctor's clinic to hospitalization, the patient wants the participants claimed as social security. It will mess up the existing administrative system in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Yogyakarta. Objective: To reveal the implementation BPJS 2014 at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Yogyakarta, knowing and efforts to overcome obstacles that occur in the work unit especially in the medical record and patient acceptance BPJS patientrelated coding problems that occur in the work unit medical record after the enactment of the Health BPJS . Methods: This study used a qualitative descriptive method with cross sectional design. Subject and object of research is patient admissions officers, coding and independent verifier BPJS patients at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Yogyakarta. Retrieval of data through interviews, documentation and observation studies. Results: The results of this study indicate that in place Patient Receipts and Coding General Hospital PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta delivered orally procedures for the implementation of the procedure in writing patient Admission is not perfect, though there are no written procedures for coding activities BPJS but the implementation is good enough. Barriers that occur in the implementation of man seen patient admissions, there is still a background officer diploma pendidikanya not medical records. Judging from the machine (tool) computer at the reception of patients and often filing error. While the views of the method (way) obstacles is communication between officer of TPP and filing workers, clinics and wards are still lacking. While the implementation of the coding is good enough. Because the newly implemented three-month BPJS so many rules changed until the hospital find appropriate rules. For man no barriers, educational background coding clerk BPJS is D3 Medical Record. While the method (way), the bottleneck is the medical resume is not filled or filled and incomplete and unclear. For machine no barriers.
