  • Malioboro is the most well known tourism site in Yogyakarta City. It is always crowded by tourists and traffic. The impact of the traffic is the increase CO (Carbon Monoxside) concentration in this area. Moreover the high density of the buildings in both road sides will trap CO between them. The aims of this research are (1) to extract the buildings height data by using LiDAR DEM data, (2) to make a map of the builndings height and (3) to make a map of the CO potential concentration in a part of Malioboro Area. This research use LiDAR DEM data and AEOLIUS Method. LiDAR DEM data is used to extract the buildings height, while the AEOLIUS Method is used to calculate the CO potential concentration in a part of Malioboro area.
