- Gambling is illegal activity in Indonesia , whether compared to religion norms, morality, or formal law. But according the field, peoples practices that. When gambling, they have to spend much money, ironically they have to do a hard work to fulfill daily needs. This research did in Kuala Rosan, Meliau , Sanggau District, West Kalimantan. Kuala rosan society lived in rubber fields. To fulfill daily needs, Rosan society works as rubber farmers. From their daily activity they has Patron-Client realation among each other. Patron-Client as realtion, is very importat for them. Form that relation they could be differentiate eventough they depends each other. Differentiation in everyday life is not showed up in gambling activity. When gambling, they have same position, that is as a player�s. Eventough they need money to play with, it�s doesn�t matter. When gambling they have strategy to gain what they wants. So that, gambling could be seen as an arena�s where the hegemony practiced.
