- This study, entitled â��Politeness of Characters in Korean Drama Series God's Quiz (ì� ì�� í� ́ì¦�)â��, analyzes the charactersâ��s utterances in Korean Drama Series Godâ��s Quiz in sociopragmatic. The aims of this study are to describe compliance and violation of Leechâ��s politeness principle maxims in the drama series. This research is a pragmatic identity study. The data were obtained from the charactersâ��s conversation of korean drama series Godâ��s Quiz, season one and two. The data were obtained by using observation method and analyzed by using pragmatic identity method. After analyzing the data, the compliance and violation of tact maxim, maxim of generosity, maxim of approbation, maxim of modesty, maxim of agreement, and maxim of sympathy can be found in all seasons. Compliance of maxim of approbation is the most commonly found in the data and violation of maxim of modesty is the most commonly found in the data.
