- Underdevelopment as a form of development communication problems. Communication gaps between the local government with all stakeholders of development led to the implementation of development does not run a comprehensive and integrated, so that the implementation of development often failed in achieving goals. This research assesses public-private partnership in the implementation of the Gerbangmastra program in Kolaka regency. This study aims to analyze how the implementation of public-private partnership in the implementation of the Gerbangmastra program, and analyzes the extent of implementation of publicprivate partnership are supported community participation can encourage the successful implementation of the Gerbangmastra program. This research uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. The sample of communities on a quantitative approach had chosen with multistage random sampling tehnique as many 266 persons. 20 persons as informants were interviewed in a qualitative approach. The results showed that the successful of the implementation of Gerbangmastra program both from aspects a work productivity of program, the achievement of program targets and community satisfaction are enough good, because supported by implementation of public-private partnerships and community participation that enough good. Implementation of public-private partnership that socialized to the community effected to the community participation and successful of the implementation of Gerbangmastra program. Community participation effected to the achievement of the successful of the implementation of Gerbangmastra program. Implementation of public-private partnership were supported by community participation effected to the successful of the implementation of Gerbangmastra program.
