- The development of digital technology is so rapid that affects almost all areas of human life including the fine arts area. Artist interaction with digital technology produces new works with a different creative process with pre-existing. Digital technologies that are on the computer is able to accelerate the process of moving an idea from the mind's imagination or an artist to be a art works. Computers and equipment can be a tool that is specifically used for art. Artists communicate ideas through his artwork and it makes them always look for new media. Mechanical reproduction technology developed into an important part of human life. The selection tools and materials requires experience and knowledge. Tools and materials is a media that cannot be dissociated from the concepts and techniques are chosen to also actually visualize the concept. The transition between the medium affected by technological developments in mechanical reproduction that influenced the development of fine art photography. Digital technology makes restrictions on the classification of art become blurred.
