- Paperless office can support the effectiveness , efficiency and productivity of the organization . Based on the analysis stage of research integrity is known that there is a problem faced by JTI UMY in managing records and documents . These problems include archive and document storage facilities are not proportional to the number of records and documents that a lot and always increasing , there is no specific system in place to manage records and documents , arrangement and storage of archives and documents have not been properly maintained , the officer has no special expertise in field management of archives and documents . Based on the problems facing the program made JTI UMY archiving applications . Filing an application program named SIMARSIP . Research using SDLC methodology ( Software Development Life Cycle ) in which the process of making a prototype system is done by creating a prototype - prototype to satisfy user needs and to understand better the needs of the user . Steps being taken include requirements gathering , design and evaluation of prototypes . Testing results of the application is built system functionally can produce output as expected , and the results of testing the look of the application file management system that has been built to meet the needs .
