- The research is titled �Occupy Wall Street as a new social movement�. This research is purposed to understand how does Occupy Wall Street emerge and evolve an issue that began of a prolonged crisis in USA which afflict many people then developing internationally. This research is qualitative and the obtained data based on literature. This research uses a theory of new social movement. The researcher identifies Occupy Wall Street as a new social movement because Occupy Wall Street rejects hierarchical leadership system with no lifting leadership and freedom of the participants to argue participants in Occupy Wall Street also crossed class boundaries with the participation of students, workers, feminists, environmentalists, religious, leaders and others
