- The increasing number of Health Insurance coverage patients from January until August 2013 about 21.25% also influence the increasing of procurement and inventory value. It is a challenge for pharmacy department to manage patient satisfaction and also to control the inventory. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of ABC analysis and EOQ methods to the procurement value, inventory value and ITOR at Pharmacy Department of Saiful Anwar General Hospital. Method: analytical observational research design with retrospectively data collecting. This study used inventory data were collected from January to December 2012. Existing data were compared with simulation data, then tested with paired-t test ABC analysis is used to classified items to the �A�, �B� and �C� category. �A� category in ABC analysis based on use value is 69 of 790 items (8.73%) with the value Rp. 23,673,905,069.00 (75.11%). �A� category in ABC analysis based on inventory/investasi value is 95 of 729 items (13.03%) with the value Rp. 2,530,690,834.00 (75.08%). Existing procurement is Rp. 24,648,889.00 bigger than EOQ, with p = 0.972 (p > 0.05). Existing end stock is Rp. 954,609,080.00 (47.91%) bigger than EOQ, with p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). Existing ITOR is 12.83 and EOQ ITOR is 17.34. Conclusion: the real procurement and simulation with ABC analysis and EOQ methods in pharmacy department of Saiful Anwar General Hospital is not significantly different, but the end stock comparation is significantly different.
