  • Background: In embryo vitrification procedures of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), devices are one of the important factor that will affect the success rate of vitrification. Many devices has been invented and used in clinical setting of ART Laboratories. Gama Sleeved Cryoloop 0,1 Î1⁄4l is a device that invented in Permata Hati Clinic of DR. Sardjito Goverment Hospital. Objectives: The objective of this study is to to see the comparison of the use of Gama Sleeved Cryoloop 0.1 Î1⁄4l and Hemistraw as a device in the process of vitrification in maintaining embryo viability after rewarming. Methods: The method of this study is an experimental study. 8-cell stage of embryos were taken from Swiss Albino mice aged 6-8 weeks and then vitrified using Gama Sleeved Cryoloop 0.1 Î1⁄4l and Hemistraw as a device for at least 24 hours before rewarming. Post-warming embryo viability assessed by retrieval rate, survival rate, good development, and hatching/hatched rate of both devices. This study uses primary data which were collected by direct observation. Results: Retrieval Rate of post-warming embryos on both devices is not different significantly (p=0.512
