  • Sengon is one of the fast growing species and has high economic value. However the sengon plantation is facing the problem of gall rust disease. In order to obtain sengon plant with high quality and productivity, it necessary improved seed source of the growth and gall rust disease resistance. One of its efforts is breeding programs, particularly through the development of progeny test plantation. This research was conducted in sengon progeny test plot of B2PBPTH Yogyakarta in two locations, Jember in RPH Sumberjati, BKPH Sempolan, KPH Jember and Lumajang in Kandang Tepus Village, Senduro sub-district. The purposes of this study were to determine the variation of the growth in each family, to estimate genetic parameters of sengon plant growth in every location and combination lokation, and know the response of each family to gall rust disease in both of location. Based on the variance analysis of growth variation in each family are significant in every location nor combination location. Some families look consistent entered top 10 best family in diameter and height trait, in Jember are family numbers 13, 66, 20, 55, 51, 4, 14, 53
