  • The phenomenon of long distance relationship (LDRs) in industrial/organizational world have rapidly increased. Work demand has made employees are caught up in LDR relationship with their spouse. The LDRs is really reluctant of conflicts that may caused stress. The objective of this research is to predict the role of quality work life, job satisfaction, and meaning of work toward job stress of employees who are in Long Distance Relationship (LDRs) in organization X and Y. Data are obtained of 40 employees in organization X in Bogor and organization Y in Jakarta. In this research, data are being collected through quality work life, job satisfaction, meaning of work, and job stress questionnaire. The hypothesis of this research is that quality work life, job satisfaction, and meaning of work, together has role to job stress of employees who are in LDRs condition, in which from the three independent variables together are predicted to reduce the job stress of employees in organization X and Y. Method that is used to test the hypothesis of this research is multiple regression analysis. Findings of this research showed that together, quality work life, job satisfaction, and the meaning of work influence the job stress of employees who are in LDRs condition in organization X and Y. Meaning of work is job stress predictor. In the other hand, the quality work life and job satisfaction does not significantly influence toward job stress of employees who are in LDRs condition in organization X and Y.
