- This thesis is the result on the research on archaeological resources in Giri, Kebomas, Gresik, East Java. The aim of the research is to find the important value, and to give suggestions on the solution to the stakeholder of the problems, both as a model and the management. This site was the capital city of Giri and the oldest Islamic education centre in Jawa. The archaeology resource in Giri is the compound of Sunan Giri graveyard, the compound of Sunan Prapen graveyard, the site of Giri Kedaton, the compound of Adipati Tanggungbaya graveyard, and the Puteri Campa graveyard. The important value of this archaeological resources are the present historical value, science, education, culture, religions, and tourismones. Although, the management still needs to be evaluated and managed well according to the law that written in Heritage Regulation of Indonesia, Undang Undang Republik Indonesia No. 11 tahun 2010 about Cagar Budaya (Cultural Heritage)
