- School as one of the learning environment in health, welfare and development of the students, make WHO gives special attention to increasing the number of school with characteristics that can strengthen the capacity as a healthy environment in the life of learning. School well-being taken from the student's perspective can be a breakthrough development of school evaluation in meeting the basic needs of students that includes four dimensions, namely: having (state school), loving (social relations), being (selffulfillment) and health (health status). This study aims to examines the role of self-efficacy and peer support toward school well-being of Junior High School students in Yogyakarta city. This study was conducted to 194 students in three State Junior High School in Yogyakarta city. The results showed that by using multiple regression analysis there is a role self-efficacy and peer support toward school well-being significantly with the value of F = 23.887 with p <0.05. Self efficacy and peer support together provide an effective contribution to the school well-being by 15,3%. Partial test, showed that self-efficacy effective contribution of 2,1%, and peer support contribute effectively to the school well-being by 13.2%. Therefore, in improving school well-being the students of Junior High School State in Yogyakarta city there are other factors more influential by 84,7% in addition to self-efficacy and peer support.
